For a sustainable EU seed law

The free circulation of non-industrial seeds and other plant propagating material must remain legal. ARCHE NOAH will not accept EU laws that threaten rare and old seed varieties, and do not respect the right to seeds anchored in international law. ARCHE NOAH does not want diversity to be put at risk.

We inform policy makers, civil society and media

ARCHE NOAH advocates, both in Austria and in Brussels, for a more sustainable EU seed law that will protect the rights of farmers, gardeners and consumers, and preserve biodiversity.

Vienna Declaration

On 24 November 2013, over 40 organisations signed the Vienna Declaration on the planned EU seed marketing regulation (PRM law) „Protect our natural heritage, biodiversity and resulting food security!“– an urgent call to action". Read the Vienna Declaration.
